The extraordinary coaches of Cali Collective combined with the rich tradition of Otter Bar Lodge creates a magical week long kayaking experience you won’t forget. The lodge at Otter Bar has been long renowned for its peaceful beauty nestled deep in the true north of California. With the Salmon and Klamath Rivers within reach, there are so many options for paddling this time of the spring.

This 6-day clinic is designed for intermediate through advanced whitewater paddlers with the instruction focus on technique, making harder moves and catching challenging eddies, surfing, the boof and bomb-proofing your roll. We’ll explore scouting and advanced water-reading, making complex moves in rapids, working as a team and setting safety properly.

This clinic begins on the evening of April 20 with dinner with the coaches at 6:00 pm and finishes around 4:00 pm on April 26. 

Prerequisite: A consistent combat roll in class 3 whitewater is required to register for this clinic.  If you are unsure of which clinic you should sign up for, please read through our Paddling Skill Level Self-Assessment.

The cost of the clinic includes 6 days of professional instruction, 6 nights lodging, gourmet meals each day, hot tub and sauna. A non-refundable $600 deposit is due at time of booking. Please contact us if you need to rent any kayaking gear.
