Time to get skilled in your craft!

For the on-water instruction, we’ll work on paddling technique — catching eddies, making ferries with finesse, the brace, surfing and making moves with precision. We’ll even surf it up if the conditions are right. There is also a focus on basic safety and rescue, understanding hydrodynamics (AKA reading the water) and decision making.

Afterwards we’ll get some chill time at camp and maybe an afternoon swim or some volleyball. In the morning, we’ll pack up camp and hit the water for more instruction! The goal is to make you a self-sufficient paddler ready to explore the river with friends at the same level.

The cost of the clinic includes instruction, camping and personal flotation device (PFD), paddle, helmet, wetsuit and paddle jacket. Packraft rentals available upon request.
