Whether you are an experienced paddler hoping to run your first waterfall or a class II paddler looking to explore new whitewater — we offer professionally guided trips around the iconic rivers of the region and so much more. Depending on your craft of choice, your paddling adventure includes whitewater kayaking, packrafting or standup paddleboarding the incomparable rivers throughout the gorgeous Araucanía region or in pristine Patagonia. Cali Collective is proud to partner with Chilean outfitters, chefs and companies to provide a seamless experience and to support local businesses.
While these trips are focused on paddling, we also have you covered when we’re off the water. You’ll have the opportunity to dive deep into local culture and learn about the people, flora and fauna of this land. Interested in hiking, biking or horseback riding? We can organize rides into the Patagonian Andes, to crystal clear alpine lakes or hike up a big volcano. You’ll enjoy authentic Chilean food, sip regional wines, spark meaningful conversation by the campfire and relax under the Southern Cross. The sky’s the limit!
Whitewater Kayaking
Los Lagos/La Araucanía | Whitewater Kayaking | Class II to V
We begin our trip in Pucon, where depending on skill and water level, we have rivers rated from Class II to Class V. We’ll explore the varied rivers of this region, as well as enjoy the famous hot springs, hiking and the other incredible activities this region has to offer.

Rio Futaleufú, Patagonia | Whitewater Kayaking | Class IV-V
Considered one of the finest destination rivers in the world, there’s a reason the best of the best paddlers flock to this iconic place each year. Big volume, crystal clear and turquoise blue, Futaleufú hosts world-class whitewater surrounded by breathtaking peaks in Patagonia.

Learn to Kayak in Patagonia | Whitewater Kayaking & Rafting in Futaleufú
Are you new to whitewater kayaking or interested in learning how to kayak? We offer a truly unique experience in the stunning Futaleufú valley. Our kayaking journey will be on the Rio Espolon, a beautiful class I/II section of river, as well as a breathtaking class I/II stretch of the mighty Futaleufú. We’ll cover balance and control of the kayak, essential paddle strokes, basic hydrology and reading the water, self-rescue and safety fundamentals while learning to navigate rapids up to class II. We progress at a safe pace to ensure you have a great time learning on the river and want to come back for more. Included in the trip is a day of whitewater rafting on the famous Bridge to Bridge class IV section on the Futaleufú so you can experience the thrill of this extraordinary river in a professionally guided raft.

Whitewater SUP (Standup Paddleboard)
Los Lagos/La Araucanía | SUP | Class I-III
We are stoked to offer two standup paddleboard trips this year in this amazing region of rivers. Depending on your skill and experience level you can choose the trip best for you. 
SUP Level I – Explore the gentle rivers rated class I/II and pristine lakes around the region. This trip is for beginner paddleboarders, no prior experience required.
SUP Level II/III – We’ll paddle rivers rated class II-III in this intermediate level whitewater paddleboard trip. This trip is for intermediate level paddleboarders who are already comfortable paddleboarding on class II to III whitewater rivers.
