Overview

Take your kayaking to the next level! For the on-water instruction, the class is divided into groups – Whitewater I/II and Whitewater II/III so you can learn with other students at your level.

Clinic Options

Whitewater I/II

We’ll focus on catching eddies, making ferries with finesse, the brace, roll and making good decisions on the river. The goal is to make you a self-sufficient paddler ready to explore the river with friends at the same level.

Whitewater II/III

This group levels up the skills by learning to make Class 3 moves in Class 2. We’ll explore surfing, catching more challenging eddies and the all important – combat roll.

Location & Timing

Day 1 will likely take place in Bolinas, Half Moon Bay, or Dillon Beach, with Days 2 and 3 launching from Horseshoe Cove. Day 4, we will adjust location based on the needs of each group and the day’s conditions.

This 4-day long-weekend aims to meet your goals and needs at a variety of levels, taking advantage of aa group of people riding skis on a body of water strong coaching team to challenge yourself and achieve new breakthroughs.

Whether you’re from out of town and have always wanted to paddle in the Bay Area or you’re a local excited to work with new coaches and fresh techniques, this clinic is designed for you.
