The British Canoeing Coastal Navigation and Tidal Planning (CNTP) course is intended for anyone interested in expanding their knowledge and ability pertaining to planning safe journeys on the sea. Whether paddling with peers, leading trips for an outfitter, or using CNTP to fulfill a prerequisite for a leadership award, our focus is on developing practical skills through a hands-on approach.
There are no prerequisites for participating in CNTP, and there is no assessment. Instead, learners will leave will a comprehensive tool box for journey planning and ideas on continuing to develop and refine their skill set.
This course will be land-based and will last 8 hours.
